MRC-VIPER
The VIPER (Vehicle Installed Power Enhanced Rifleman) represents the latest evolution in vehicular communications for the AN/PRC-154 Rifleman Radio*. The VIPER fully supports SRW (Soldier Radio Waveform) and provides 20 watts of RF amplification.
The VIPER extends the operational range of the AN/PRC-154 radio and assures tactical network connectivity by improving the radio’s network link margin. VIPER’s small form-factor (254 mm H x 133.35 mm W x 87.63 mm L) makes it an easy choice for vehicle integration where space is limited. Once installed, the AN/PRC-154 radio can be mounted in and removed from VIPER with one hand. VIPER meets a host of MIL-STD-810 environmental and MIL-STD-461 EMI standards to ensure survivability in the harshest operating environments.
